Who We Are
Krafthaus consultants have spent over 40 years leading teams within the Space, Aviation, Automotive, Marine, Defence and Composite Material industries, establishing themselves as a leading authority in the design, engineering and certification of systems, products, vehicles and vessels.
Established in 1994 by Neil and Trevor Jenkins, Krafthaus specialised initially in lightweight structures technologies. Both being accomplished engineers in their own right.
Now leading an international, multi-disciplined team of senior consultants, project managers and engineers; Neil is a Member of the Institute of Directors, Fellow of the Society of Engineers, Fellow of the Institute of Engineering and Technology and Fellow of the Institute of Diagnostic Engineers. Neil specialises in the Aerospace and Automotive sectors, including fast jets, advanced concept systems, space satellite projects and military laser systems,
Trevor Jenkins, is a Master’s qualified chartered engineer, member of the Institute of Engineering and Technology and has held several executive technical leadership roles across Europe and Asia. Trevor specialises in Aerospace, Aviation and Automotive industries, including military and civil airframe structures, systems integration, defence products, vehicle BIW and chassis engineering.
He has been working as consultant and advisor for the last ten years on aviation, aerospace and defence for several commercial and governmental organisations within Europe and Asia.
The Evolution of KraftHaus
In 1999 Krafthaus merged with Gibbs Technologies, which soon became the world’s leading developer of high-speed amphibian (HSA) vehicles for consumer, commercial and military use. Krafthaus has now been reborn. The original founders working together again, harnessing the accumulated experience from over 3 million man hours, 20 new vehicles/aircraft/vessel types, over 25 years of engineering development, testing, certification and manufacture, has all been retained within the core team at Krafthaus.
